Planning on printing wirelessly? NOT!
I bought this printer as my next step in my computer evolution. I am getting rid of the home office and have invested in laptops and going completely wireless.
I bought this printer as my next step in my computer evolution. I am getting rid of the home office and have invested in laptops and going completely wireless.
This printer was junk wirelessly. I had to reboot it every time I wanted to print. I discovered the problem to be the power saver mode, I problem solved every solution and nothing worked. I returned it in 9 days and went with an Epson.
I would not buy Lexmark again for any wireless printing needs. I thought the solution would be to disable the power saver mode; you can't! You have to have power saving!

I left for mexico after spending 3 hours on line with a tech that could not get the printer to accept a print signal from the computer. Also, the auto feed for coping does not work. I am returning home the 2oth of March and will try one more time with one of the techs before taking the unit back to the store.

As a wireless unit this printer is HORRIBLE. With the auto shut down, after the unit powers off, you have to unplug and plug it back (total boot, the power button won't handle it) The factory support is horrible and frustrating. Worse purchase I have made in a very long time. Buyer beware.

The document feeder does not work all the time/. I returned to the store to find out why, and theirs did not work either. The printer "expert" could not get it to work either. I am currently in Mexico and won't return until March. At that time I will return the unit to the store if you cannot provide info to make it work.
