The Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router is really three devices in one box. First,there's the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect both screaming fastWireless-G (802.11g at 54Mbps) and Wireless-B (802.11b at 11Mbps) devices to thenetwork. There's also a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch to connect yourwired-Ethernet devices together. Connect four PCs directly, or attach more hubs andswitches to create as big a network as you need. I am using two of the older WRT54G models for my own use and just setup this newer model for a friend's new home. I also used to setup many wireless networks for customers as part of my last job and was able to try out many different models over the last few years. These Linksys Wireless G routers are by far my favorite routers. The setup was very quick and easy and the performance is great compared to other G routers.

However, when I was setting up the security the default option was WPA, which is not the best option. This is an improvement over my older WRT54G which defaulted to WEP security. Users should choose WPA2 security and use a long password to properly secure their networks.

I also preferred the form-factor of the older models. They could be set horizontally or vertically and were stackable.
