Followed the setup guide and everytime ran into a network freeze / reboot situation. Ignoring the setup and going into the admin panel was much more productive. However, there are no instructions in the packaging for the admin panel.

I bought this because it was wireless n with WPA2 secure capable. Not many products on the market have this capability. THe other choice was to use power plug networking, but that wasn't as fast.

I can't really comment as to the throughput as I'm not a "test engineer" and your mileage may vary by location, interference, etc.

Comments about Linksys Dual-Band Wireless-N Ethernet Bridge:

I bought this bridge to turn an old HP wired Network printer wireless so I could move it to the new office (which doesn't have wires). After a little trouble setting it up with a D-Link wifi router (don't use on a WEP secured network - use WPA if at all possible), I got them to work together flawlessly. Works like a charm.

Comments about Linksys Dual-Band Wireless-N Ethernet Bridge:

Used the bridge to improve the connection between Bravia TV and internet router. The distance seemed to be the problem, leading to unreliability. Since using the Linksys, the connection has been rock-solid. I'm completely satisfied

Comments about Linksys Dual-Band Wireless-N Ethernet Bridge:

I have 3 of these units - one in a multimedia TV application and two for desktop computers - They work great and I have not had any problems. With their web management capability, I can keep tabs on them from one PC. They work perfectly with a non-Linksys wireless-N router - so there is good interoperability and the security setup was a snap. I am very pleased with their operation and performance.

What is the difference (in application and quality) between
Linskys Wireless-N Access Point (model WAP610N) and Linskys
          Wireless-N Ethernet Bridge (model WET610N)?

Also, is there a wireless bridge like device capable of hooking up more than one device?

            A:

I don't have the WAP610N so I cannot comment on the differences.

On one of my 3 WET601Ns I have a Ethernet switch connected with two printers and one of my desktop PCs on the wired side. I can print from the other desktop PC just fine to either printer. I can ping both the WET610N and the PC behind it - makes remote management a snap for both printers and the WET610N

If you can get it setup, yes. You might not like the speed xbox depending on how far you are from your router! You are better off getting a game adapter.

It should work great with the Xbox. You have to configure it to your network first by connecting it to your router first and installing it on your network. Just follow the wizard that comes with it.
