It provided a much better connection to the home wireless network than the little USB adapter. Signal strength at the computer is higher and there are far fewer dropouts. Recommended.

Installed easily and worked fine. However, once MAC filtering was turned on (with the correct MAC address for the PCI adapter -- which was verified by reading the address off the card, ipconfig/all and the number recognized by my router -- in the allowed devices list) the card would not connect to the network. Called Linksys and got nowhere.
