          Once it is set up, it's so eAsy to use- turn on and write! The desktop interface is not as intuitive as it should be, but it's not bad. I haven't used the recording function yet- but note taking is awesome, and the companion app to transcribe my scrawl into type is so-so. I am a teacher and I know this is going to become an indespensible orgAnizational tool for me.

                The livescribe pen is wonderful! I had to piece together a "bundle" as the Staples "livescribe bundles" were out of stock (which is confusing since I was able to get the items separately...perhaps this is a way to charge more?)

                Regardless, this pen is such a find! I am using it for writing. In the past I would fill notebooks with story ideas, etc. and then, maybe, type them in my laptop. Now I just sync the pen, bring up Myscript (free version, after which I am certain to purchase) and my livescribe notes are converteds to text.

                I've done some quick sketches which are synced very well. I am surprised as to how well my printing was recognized.

                I got the 2GB pen and wished I would;ve gone for at least the 4GB.

                Last thing...when i pieced together my own "bundle" I got the livescribe stand up charger which is not needed with the 2GB pen.
