Before using any new paper product, please check to see that your smartpen is using the latest available firmware.

      I bought this for my daughter for school but used it for work and now have to buy her another pen. I didn't think I would be able to hear the recordings but they are surprising clear when transferred to the computer. It is nice to keep notes and recordings on the computer for access later when I can't read my notes.

        Livescribe products have helped me be more efficient and take more reliable notes. Not only can I refer back to my written notes, but when the notebooks are used with the livescribe echo pen I can hear exactly what the presenter was saying at the time I wrote the text.

            Livescribe is a great system for students who sit through long lectures and like to have them recorded. The notebooks are just the right size for taking notes efficiently without overloading the page. The pen allows for quick recall of the lecture at any spot in your note taking. I do wish however that there was a larger unruled note book available. These notebooks are hard to come by so ordering online is probably your best bet. The stores have little selection by the online store has a good selection.
