The camera and sound is very clear, easy to use, and very reliable. I have used several other brands and sent them back due to quality of camera,sound, etc. I love this webcam and highly recommend it for quality and price.

Software for this product is very buggy. Computer started locking up/freezing after software installation. The [$] I spent on this does not equate to the vast number of hours I have spent trying to get this to work properly.I have never had good experiences with any logitec hardware/software from the beginning of my computer days, i.e., joystick & mice many years ago, then a faulty keyboard, now the webcam. I'm a believer now - you get what you pay for.

        I was looking for an easy to use toy for the most part. The C310 is probably a whole lot more than that but certainly meets my needs.
        I bought Logitech because of the excellent experience I have had with all of their products that I own. Self-installing for the most part, works as advertised, and dependable. I can't think of a single Logitech product I've ever had a problem with and between my business and my personal use I have 6 computers all equipped with Logitech products.

              Webcam was easy to set up. Windows XP installed drivers automatically on plug-in to USB. No need to use CD or download drivers. Very good picture. Good in normal indoor light.Average sound. Nice form factor. A little flimsy. Excellent value when on sale.

              Good images and nice features. Some trouble using the Logitech Vid software. It doesn't always ring on the receiving end so they don't know you're calling.Also,the mic setting doesn't always stay set to the right mic. I haven't tried it yet with IM or other software.The camera seems ok but the Vid software seems to have some issues. The mounting bracket doesn't hold very well on any of my computers or monitors.The HD doesn't work unless you have good bandwith but has decent video even at slower speeds. Overall, I'm fairly happy with it.
