I was using this for Rosetta Stone, sound quality is not that great and the mic sounded horrible. Going to replace it with the logitech pro and usb hookup.

this headphone/microphone was bought for online gaming. had to call technical support to get the microphone working. after a few attempts with the tech support it worked and is now easy to use

I like the padded speakers and the sound quality is what I expected, but the microphone is located on a boom that is to far away from my mouth, and it's not adjustable. I need to speak loudly into it to work properly. I have my "boost microphone setting on" in windows and it is still too soft. Also the volume control is a good idea that is poorly executed. It is heavy, cumbersome and could have easily been integrated into the headphone area. Unfortunately I'm disappointed in this product. I have gone back to using a three year old competing brand equivalent that performs better.
