I use this product for voice recording (with Audacity) and for listening to pre-recorded audio files or watching/listening to music/film videos without disturbing those around me. The earphones are comfortable but do get a bit sweaty feeling after they've been on for a while (hence my 4-star rating). The mic gives very good sound quality without picking up most background sounds. The cable is long so it can be plugged into a USB port on the back of the CPU and still reach my chair comfortably. The volume control and mic mute located on the right earphone are very handy. I had bought a less expensive behind-the-neck model but did not like the sound quality with that mic and the headset was uncomfortable so I returned it. This one's worth the extra cost.

I use my headset for business calls via skype. This is my first headset that automatically connects to skype when it is plugged in. The sound quality is great, the volume up/down in the headset is great. I think this is my 10th headset. I only buy Logitech because of the quality. I also like the cord; thick and strong (most break). I highly recommend this product.

I think this is probably a fine product, but it didn't work well enough to optimize the function of my voice recognition software. I could be wrong - there may be other factors - but I'm pretty sure it was the mic.

I just bought this today, and I like it a lot. I like the controls on the sides, (volume control and mute), very convenient. also, very comfortable, i have wore it from the time i bought up it til now (about 6-7 hours) and it still feels comfortable. the soundswitch equalizer works good, it changes the sound for w/e ur doing. I use it on the gaming setting when I play games, and it makes everything sound better. I recommend this to anyone looking for a very good headset.

Good quality and microphone, the wraparound ear foam pad gets hot over time, and put pressure on ears so cant be on more than 30 minutes without being uncomfortable
