Though I am hard core computer user (work and play 8+ hours a day on one) I am not the kind that wants a mouse with 50 buttons on it. I find that most of these additional buttons already have easy to click counterparts already on my screen and I'm not so lazy that I need to have an additional button on my mouse. So when I look for a mouse, I want one that has a left button, a right button, and a scroll wheel. Nothing more. Which is exactly what this mouse has. It is a bit small for my hand, but I use it along with a notebook computer so space is limited. And to be honest, controlling it with my fingers is rather comfortable as the back end of it is contoured to allow a comfortable grip. Setup wasn't too bad and yes I did install the Logitech software to get the little extra control I like to have when moving my mouse. I like a fair amount of acceleration so I can move my mouse cursor from one side of the screen to the other on quick flicks of my hand, but need precision when I move it slowly. This level of control always seems to need the additional software. My one and only complaint is that the scroll wheel has a little bit of play and while in Photoshop, if I bump it with my fingers, the image will zoom in or out slightly. It's not much but still noticeable. Though I have to admit that it seems to not be happening as much lately. I don't know if it was just a little lose on first use and is now tightening up (not in a bad way as it still spins nicely) or if I'm just more careful of my finger placement. Either way, it is a minor problem that for the price and comfort of using this basic mouse hasn't really bothered me much since the first few days of use. If I were to need another mouse, I wouldn't hesitate to go get another one of these.

Nicely made

It's very easy to use and spacious. Problem is that after a few days, it makes a squeaking noise when you click from time to time. All in all, I recommend it.
