I first fell in love with Logitech's M305 and bought one for each of my 3 computers; desktop, laptop, and netbook. I didn't think it could get any better because they have such a small receiver and work so well. I got a new laptop and the salesman ask if I had tried the M525 that he had and loved. I did and have gotten 2 more for gifts. It is a smooth running mouse and the wheel is even easier to use. It just feels good and has the same small receiver...buy one, you'll thank me later!

When I first tried out the Logitech Mouse I loved it. The problem started shortly after because
the on off switch is on the bottom of the mouse and it constantly shuts off. I have tried putting a tape over the switch to see if that would help. I also turned my mouse pad upside down to the smooth side to see if that would help. What I should have done is returned it... Other than that I love it!!

I've not used the M525 a lot, but so far it has worked flawlessly for both Mac and PC on a variety of surfaces (table, pants leg, couch). The scroll wheel is a bit touchy, but the flip side is that it gives fasst scrolling. I have no complaints about the M525 so far.
