This one was perfect. Being that I didn't pick an expensive one I thought I'd have trouble.
NONE!! It's worked from the minute I plugged it in and have had no problems whatsoever!!

I have been searching for a mouse to replace my Apple mouse because the scroll ball on the Apple mouse doesn't work all the time. I bought the Logitech wireless M525 a month ago. It was very easy to set up, I just put the battery in the mouse, plugged in the wireless usb and I was up and running. What I don't like about it, is the tracking is all over the place. The center wheel works great for scrolling up and down, but you can't scroll left or right. When I push on the wheel downward it separates all my windows I have open, great, but when I push the wheel left and right, it clicks like something should happen, but nothing does. I am using it on my Mac running OSX 10.5.8. There are no updates for my system with this mouse as of today and the preference settings are limited. I understand there is more functionality with this mouse using Windows OS, but that doesn't do Mac users any good.

This mouse installed itself when I plugged in the USB device. It is very smooth pointer action, the roller ball works very smooth as well. It works on all surfaces I used on my coffee table, the arm of my leather couch, and it even worked on my bed sheets. Overall a great wireless mouse.

Works well with the MacBook Pro running Lion. Once you sync it with the unifying receiver, you do not need the Logitech software. You use Mac Mouse Preferences to adjust scrolling speed - it is that easy. Scrolls much better than the M510.
