    I was in the market looking for some 360 degree speakers. Among the lot, I liked Logitech's Z523 and Z323 (this system). The speakers were not too much different between the two. For the price, I chose Z323. There are few subtle enhancements on Z523. The sound is very crisp. The bass output from the sub-woofer is very good, but it sometimes get too distorting for heavy sounds if you keep the bass level too high. I keep them at around middle level for optimum performance. I also tried these as speaker replacements for my 55" LED-LCD TV. They did not match up to the sound bars in the market, though that is not the intention for Z323. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

    i recently purchased the logitech z313 system for my laptop and it sounds great for the low cost. i decided to purhase a z323 set for my netbook and it doesn't sound near as good...Read complete review

    i recently purchased the logitech z313 system for my laptop and it sounds great for the low cost. i decided to purhase a z323 set for my netbook and it doesn't sound near as good as the cheaper model. all in all if i were going to do it again i would only buy the cheaper z313 set. they sound great with plenty of bass and have no problem filling a room with sound.

      I bought the speaker system for my computer for playing music and videos. I'm impressed by the rich bass sound from small speakers. They don't take up a lot of desk space. Really impressed so far.

          The speakers begin to distort with minimal bass boost which undermines the entire concept of this system! The bass speaker is supposedly the element that separates this system from other "stereo" speakers but unfortunately the opposite effect occurs! I do not think there is a flaw in my particular system but there could be a flaw in the design of this series. Not sure! I will continue to experiment with various bass boost settings to find the optimal setting but as previously stated with minimal bass boost the speakers begin to distort! I'm pretty sure that was not the intention of the design!

              Will I be able to connect these speakers to my overhead projector? I want to mount them on the wall so I can show presentations and hear the audio.

                If you have the audio out connector & cables on your projector then yes you should be able to connect these speakers to your overhead projector. Unfortunately these speakers are not designed to be mounted on the wall they are desk top speakers to generically work with a Windows-based computer.
                Inputs: Stereo RCA, 3.5 mm primary input, 3.5 mm auxiliary input
                Outputs: 3.5mm headphone jack

              Do I have to plug the two speakers into the subwoofer in order for the speakers to work? I want to be able to keep the subwoofer at home and take the smaller speakers with me (to do presentations off my laptop)and then plug them back into the woofer when I am at home. Thanks.

                If the turntable in question is the Sony PS-LX300USB, you should be able to connect the turntable's RCA jacks directly to the RCA jacks on the sub-woofer (using an appropriate cable). The PC-LX300USB has a built-in pre-amp so that it can be used with non-phono inputs.

                The system does have an Auxiliary Input on the back of the subwoofer that takes red and white RCA connectors. In the instructions the examples of use for this input include a DVD player or a game console.
