I wanted a good 5.1 home theater system for my Laptop as I connect my 32" HDTV to my laptop. This system is perfect for PC or laptop. It gives proper effect but need to set it to work for 5.1 channel in Windows XP. It also works directly with HDTV through RCA cable.

              I apologize, I was unable to verify the length of the speaker cables. They are standard Color-coded speaker cable, speaker wires are mostly universal and be found at most hardware or electronic stores.

              These Z506 speakers can be connected to laptops, mp3 players and desktop computers without sound cards using the included audio-in cable. They can be connected to game consoles using stereo RCA cables which are not included. For 5.1 surround sound, you would need a capable sound card.
