  I use it on my linoleum floors, but I would do a test patch first to make sure it won't damage your particular material.

Q:
Does this disinfect at 1:64 dilution, or only at full strength and how long does it have to remain on surface to disinfect? Does it disinfect for canine viruses - ie suitable for animal kennels and do you have to rinse before allowing animals into disinfected area?

  "Disinfectant L at 2% concentration was
  rapidly viricidal and virulent virus was not
  detectable after 2 min. The virus survived 0.5%
  disinfectant L for more than 10 min but less than
  20 min." Inactivation of Vesicular Stomatitis Virus
  by Disinfectants HERBERT S. WRIGHT
  Diagnostic Services, Animal Health Division, National Animal Disease Laboratory, Ames, Iowa
  "disinfectant L" is 5% o-benzyl-p-chlorophenol solution, the active ingredient in lysol; as you can see, it's extremely effective at recommended dilution, so don't use it full strength.
  The EPA Reregistration Eligibility Decision red2045.pdf says basically that it should be left to dry before reentry by people or animals, and can be used on food contact stuff if followed by a soap cleaning/water rinse. Only pros using it daily with HP sprayers or foggers need protective equipment. If you are wiping the solution on by sponge, wear gloves and long sleeves; if you are mopping it on, just take reasonable care, and wash afterwards.
