    I purchased this as a gift to go with the Barnes and Noble Tablet. I typically would have sought something in a lesser price range however I was under time constraints and it had to be ordered (arrived at store the next day). It is sturdy and a bit heavy for little hands, but provides good protection for the device. The device is snug it put in and out of the holder. My only suggestion would be that these tablet holders offer the feature of some sort of handle or carrying strap to help carry it when you have other things to tote with you, making it hands free to carry and lessening the risk of dropping the tablet. It would be nice to come in fun designs (I could only get it in black) or offer engraving for easy identification.

    Good for the Dell Streak 7 too

    Couldn't find a cover for the Streak7, so used this for that purpose. Not perfect for it, but it works good enough.

              I got the product for the Nook Color and love it. It fits well with the color; snug fit and a nice cloth on the inside of the cover. This provides great protection for the Nook Color touch screen. Iike that the area where the power cord plugs into the device is open. No need to keep the cover opened while charging the device as I have experienced with other products. I wish that it had a pocket or an area for me to keep my cleaning cloth for the touch screen. I also would have liked to see a place to store paper and perhaps a pen.

                  We bought my son a Nook for his birthday so afterward, we let him pick out his own cover. He's 13 and much preferred this durable black cover to most everything else he saw. It is sleek and bendable. He prefers the cover that opens like a book where as I prefer the one that opens in a landscape style.

                          Yes, this product should protect against most drops from 3-5 feet but the manufacturer does not warrant it will. It will protect the Nook better than not having a cover..
