Durable, transparent and astonishingly thin.

Don't be left reading in the dark -- the M-Edge e-Luminator is now better than ever! The e-Luminator Touch features touch-activated power settings that allow users to control the brightness of their booklight, with low, medium, and high light intensities for tailored screen illumination. An enhanced super-bright LED light bulb provides ample illumination for the screen of the e-reader while a mirrored reflector and optical quality lens disperses the light uniformly. This booklight features a fully adjustable steel neck for fine tuning the light's position while the slim support arm slides into the convenient, sewn-in pocket featured in every jacket in M-Edge's product library. The support arm also functions as a paper clip attachment, which allows the e-Luminator to easily attach to magazines or books. The light is powered by a standard AAA battery (not included) with an easy access battery chamber. The e-Luminator Touch technology includes a sleep timer that will turn off after 60 minutes of inactivity for maximum battery conservation. Users can also simply tap the power button to turn off light after use. A flexible and resilient steel neck allows the user to position the light in the desired direction.

This is the best light for the Kindle in my opinion.

It's light weight, and I think lighter than most out there.

The illumination is fantastic because it has a lens that disperses the light. So light evenly covers the whole Kindle without having one real bright spot on the screen.

I like the fact that it has its own power source that doesn't run off the Kindle's power. It just takes 1 AAA battery, so they're easy to find if you run out of juice. Though it did run out within maybe a couple weeks, so I was thinking of getting some rechargeable AAA's.

Some people in other reviews had complaints of the goose neck not staying in position, but I have no such problems.

One downside to the light is that you can't attach the light directly to the Kindle so you don't have the weight of the case to hold up also. But, I found a solution to that. I attach the light to the Kindle using velcro. Works great!

That's my view. Give it a try! Thanks.

It works well for what I need but it isn't perfect. On/off switch is not easy to use; neck doesn't always want to stay where it is put; doesn't fit well with some of the book covers and sticks out/isn't protected. I have traveled with it and it works fine.

I got this for regular books rather than Kindle. The light is as dim as an LED lamp on my Amazon Kindle cover--Kindle has a 6" display which is much smaller than a regular book.

But I like this design; pretty easy to put it on a book, durable enough, and the most importantly it is powerd by a regular AAA battery.

If only it would be bright enough to light a letter-sized page entirely . . . even if it's bigger and having an AA battery instead . . . I would definitely get one.
