I use these for my kindle, but I have found outer uses for them. I write horror stories, and writing in the dim to dark light helps put me in the story. Of course I need to see enough to write, so I slide one of these onto a composition book and write until my heart's content.
In a pinch they also make a great and strong flashlight.

I use this with my Sony Reader, which is in a Tuf-Luv Eco-nique case. Rather than try to use the slide on clip, I just slide the entire clip between the case and the reader and it stays put just fine. The only down side is the on/off button is touch sensitive and if you leave the light on the case all the time, occasionlly you're going to accidently turn it on. It uses AAA batteries, which I prefer. I find once I put it in place, it illuminates the whole page.

When I first bought the light, I was annoyed that it wasn't very bright. My toddler touched the right spot on the light and it was then that I realized there were 3 settings (when the battery is starting to go it's very dim). I read for about an hour or two at night and use only brand name batteries and change out the light every 3-5 months or so depending on how much I use it and how bright I have it set. With a new battery, I can use the lowest setting easily for a long time.

I also have the M-Edge case from Staples that has a slot for the light clip. The light is mobile where I can adjust the light to position at the top of the kindle, bottom or somewhere in between. I could also pull the light out from the sleeve a bit and have it to the side as I've done a few times, but not often.

I also use this light with real children's books which is a little more difficult but works as I fit the clip on the edge of the hard back or soft back or rest it on something that will allow us to read but not move when I move the page. I do have a few kids books on the kindle touch to read at night and my son is fine without the color aspect because the illustrations are quite legible even with the light. It's compact as well when stored with the kindle.

The only things I think of that someone might get annoyed about are not knowing the light has 3 brightness settings or how to use them. Also, with the bendy light, you have to watch how you open/close your kindle because the light is sometimes bent in the way of the zipper, so you just gently move it aside to open your kindle.

It has improved my ability to read relaxing on the couch and not "hug" the lamp; but, wish it would like both pages (I'm using it for paper books).

Easy to use one touch light. This is an improved version much better than the previous light that had a thumb switch. The illumination has three different levels that suit all my needs. I use the first level for lighting in dim areas and the third level in very dark areas. The battery chamber is easy to open and install battery. Improvement over the previous model since I tightned the screw cap so tight I could not open the unit again. I would purchase this light again as a replacement.
