    I saved almost $90 on this comparable product that is as high of quality as it's competitor. I use this notebook to take note, I insert a paper copy of my daily Outlook calendar inside to travel with me. The feature that I like the most is the ability to remove the paper, take notes and then reinsert them. Easy to organize and reorganize papers. The construction also allows you to fold the cover back and have a flat surface. The only downside is that Stapes does not carry a paper punch that allows you to add other pages. I just happened to have one from a competitors product that is transferrable.

            It wasn't terribly difficult to set up, just time consuming. I like the calendar page set-up and that I am also able to keep a stash of notebook pages without making the book too thick. Great for meetings...I am able to take notes and have my calendar handy for updates. Much better than one with fixed pages and little room for notes.

                The M by Staples Arc Customizable Leather Notebook System is made from genuine leather which can consist of both cow and/or pig leather including other animal hide products. Unfortunately, we are not able to determine to exactly what types of animal hides are used for this leather.
