When to get to this size of ring it becomes a tad awkward and unslightly for everyday use. However if you are storing pages it is perfect. Another use is adding a tablet to a notebook. If you want to velcro a tablet holder or tablet in you will need 1 1/2" ring.

The 1" is ideal for nomal notebook use but a heavy user may need the 1 1/2". I prefer haveing two notebooks instead of a 1 1/2" or 2" for every/mobile use. 1 1/2" ring IMO is great for the office.

Use the 3/4" disc from the notebook and make jotter pads with index cards would be my recommendation.

Love how I can convert to a 1 1/2 in book. And for an added bonus the 1/2 rings that came with book now become another planner of my like since I own the punch system where I can use my own cover pages. Love my ARC system.

I love using the Arc Punch, and making notebooks with these disks. However their design is boring, looks very cheap.It reminds me of one of those old plastic pretend mini cds or records in kids toys. I'd like to see a little more range and style here. Some metals, silvers, prints, and please, please give us some color. I'm thinking of ordering from my disks from the levenger binder set to use with my Arc Punch. Other than that the disks work great, I would like to have maybe one more in between size between the small and the largest pins.
