Q: I live in the UK and I am very interested in getting the ARC System Punch. However although I make good use of the ARC products as available in Staples (UK), I have been told that I cannot (as yet) get this Punch in UK. How can I purchase this without having to wait a while? Many thanks Carl Asked on 6/19/2012 by Carl from UK Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: We appreciate your interest in the M by Staples Arc System. Unfortunately, there is no timetable as to when the Arc System Punch will be available in the UK and the US website would only ship within the lower 48 States. I do apologize but at this time we are unable to fulfill your request. Please continue to look at the Staples UK website, or feel free to contact a customer service representative at (+44) 0844 546 7777 for additional information. Answered on 6/20/2012 by Justin G. from Staples A: Unfortunately, Staples.com only ships to customers in the US, with US addresses (for both shipping and billing). Your only option to purchase this desktop punch without waiting until it's available from Staples in the UK would be to know someone in the US that could buy it and then send it on to you in the UK. Q: What the thickest stock that you can put in the punch? Can I punch something that is plastic or nylon? Asked on 4/5/2012 by Happy girl from Phoenix Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: The M by Staples Arc System Desktop Punch is not recommended for use on plastic or nylon material. The thickest stock recommended for use is 60 pound card stock. Answered on 4/6/2012 by Community Answer from None A: I have used materials made for comb binding systems with my Arc punch with good results. GBC and Fellowes have stiff clear plastic covers which don't jam in this punch. I layer them with a sheet of card stock to make my own booklets. Answered on 5/14/2012 by scg from Philadelphia, PA
Q: will this punch be suitable for A4 documents Asked on 4/2/2012 by Isaac from warks uk Know the answer? Answer this question 3 answers A: For more information on the Staples Brand products please call the Staples Brand Product Support Group at (800) 425-0049, our representatives are available from 8-8 EST Monday through Friday. Answered on 4/3/2012 by Anonymous A: A4 paper (8"W x 11.7"L) is about 11/16 of an inch longer than letter size paper. This paper punch is specifically designed to fit plain, letter size paper into an 8" x 11.5" Arc Binder. Answered on 4/3/2012 by Justin G from Staples A: This punch is designed to punch paper to specifically fit in the 'ARC' System of folders, inserts, and covers. These only come in 2 sizes, the larger being the US 'Letter' size, which is 8.5" x 11". A4 paper is longer than letter size (11.7" vs 11"), so it will not fit in this punch. Q: Will the Arc System Desktop Punch also work for Levenger brand notebooks (are they the same size)? Asked on 2/1/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: The Levenger brand notebooks commonly come in the same sizes as Arc ones, so the Arc System Desktop Punch will likely work. Answered on 2/6/2012 by Community Answer from None A: Mine works fine with my Levenger binders and clips. It's a little harder when turning the pages than the pre-made sheets, but I think that was more to do with the fact that Levenger uses a higher paperstock quality than your average sheet of paper. Q: I have the smaller size Arc system. Does this punch work with those pages as well? Or is it only for the larger size books? Asked on 1/2/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: From the product description: •Adjustable paper guides for Arc junior and letter size notebooks So I would assume it works for the smaller sizes as well.
