Price is great...BUT...it is not as sturdy as a "HON" brand cabinet. Mine had an imperfection in the corner of the paint--I guess nothing a sharpie pen wouldn't fix....Drawers do feel a little loose and not as smooth as my other HON's but again for price and not a cabinet I will use as much as my others it should be okay.

Quality NOT worth the Price

Primary Problems:

1. Legal-size files do not fit easily into the side-to-side (i.e., fronts and backs of folders facing the sides of the cabinet) filing alignment. To convert the drawers to front-to-back filing alignment (i.e., fronts and backs of folders facing the front and back of the cabinet), you have to purchase a $20 conversion kit PER DRAWER.

2. The drawers have to be pushed in just right for the lock to engage.

3. The flimsy construction and frustrating lock are not worth $400+ (conversion price included).

I purchased this file cabinet primarily for business use. For the price AND with a free gift I thought it was a bargain. I got exactly what I paid for...The drawers will not close properly and do not align. While filing in one drawer, the other opens and hits me in the head. (Wasn't there supposed to me some type of anti-locking feature?) On top of it all, the delivery experience was awful. The file cabinet was delivered by two of the most rude delivery people Staples could of possibly sent!!! They rushed in my home, tracked mud on my beige carpet and when asked to remove the skid and carting when they left I received a resounding "NO!". And after all that, I still haven't received my free gift!! Maybe the delivery men kept it!!!

This is a decent, lightweight filing cabinet. Came in with a few dings, so the construction isn't that solid but for a back room storage, it will certainly be fine.
