Music Maker MX is a great program, especially for the money. If you are a professional musican wanting to make a demo, or if you can't play an instrument or sing a note; it doesn't matter. with MM you can create fun music for your next dance party, or put a background sound track to your grandkid's birthday party video.

Like any powerful program, MM is intimidating when you first open it. But Magix has been around for a long, long time, and there are plenty of users and user forums so help is always easy to get.

Just make sure you have a powerful PC! A windows 98 PC with 512 RAM isn't going to get the job done. Get as much RAM installed as you can, and put in a graphics adapter with 1 GB RAM. You'll be happy you did that even if you don't buy MM!

Music Maker comes with sound pools and free synths and drum machines. That's the key for the non-instrumentalists. You can put together great stuff with those resources all using click and drag with your mouse.

Get MM and have fun!
