This green product delivers on all counts. It's made of 100% recycled materials, and it's manufactured by a small company right here in the U.S. The 1000 sheet one-ply version allows for total control of the amount one needs to do the job without overloading or clogging the plumbing. It's strong enough, yet it breaks down quickly in a septic system. I've been using MarCal one-ply for years, long before the company began to market to the general public, and I'll be staying with this product as long as MarCal keeps making it. The only "con" is that some rolls can be a challenge to start, but it's a very small annoyance for an otherwise perfect product.

Sometimes one has to compromise expectations for a green product. Not so with MarCal products. This small company has been producing high quality environmentally sound products for years. I'm glad to be able to get them now from my local Staples store.
