This desk was a clearance item from the store and was already assembled. I am not a Martha Stewart fan, and would never pay full price for this desk. All of her items are always overpriced. This is a very solid and functional desk. The legs are wood and the top is a composite. At first glance the desk is very simple, but there are 2 great features. The first is a built in outlet, with surge protection, and extra USB connections. This feature hides away under a door, so it essentially does not take up any surface space. The second is a very large drawer with a flip front for use as a keyboard tray. I find it so large that I can use it for my keyboard, keyboard rest, mouse and wrist rest, as well as using it to hold drawer items in a couple trays I placed towards the back of the drawer. Pleasantly surprised that this desk has worked out so well for my full time home office!

I would have loved to get the matching file cabinet, but once again, the full price of this Martha Stewart item is far too expensive for its small size. Plus, the reviews are not very good.

This is a very nice desk. However...The electrical cord on this white desk is large and black. I have a pretty white desk in a beige and white room, with an eye sore of a heavy black cord snaking around the legs of the desk and over to the outlet. The cord is not long enough to tuck up under and tack down a leg to hide it. I though the Martha people would pay attention to detail. Everything else is great.

I had this desk delivered and that went without a hitch. Came in before promised date. Also, after installation - the sliding drawer was broken in several places in shipping. A quick five-minute call later and my new drawer was on the way. No questions asked. Received my new drawer five days later and it works great. I was skeptical at first, but couldn't believe such good customer service from a manufacturer. I recommend this desk for a home office. It isn't big enough for a true working desk.

just got this desk today, it is exactly as it looked on-line & I love the sand grey color.

This desk is beautiful in color, finish and quality. It is the perfect size for my small office,but still gives me plenty of space for papers etc in addition to my laptop. I use the drawer for storage since I did not need it for a keyboard. I did not get the matching chair because it was only ergonomic with the pull out area for typing. But with a different (higher)chair it is perfect. The drawer slides easily and has quality hardware. It came installed but is a tiny bit askew if you step back and look at the drawer closely. Not very noticeable. The hidden power strip area has been great to hide the cord for the laptop and desk lamp and the USB hub allows you to plug in three ports and only one to your computer. Wonderful desk.
