I'd thought I'd wanted a vintage office chair to compliment my 1940s steel tanker desk until I saw the Martha Stewart Task Chair - and it was love at first sight. I know, we're talking about a chair. But the design & proportions are so good & that's just the beginning. The butter soft leather seat, in that great khaki color, is very comfortable. The satin nickel finish frame is METAL, not merely a metallic spray coating on plastic. The ball casters with the metal hoods are so much better looking than the cheap plastic disk style wheels found on most desk chairs at this price point & they roll smoothly. Such terrific quality for the price!
