Very simple to put together, not sure why some others take hours?? Very nice but a bit pricey for furniture you have to assemble. Also have two matching desks and file they look great.

Had to leave out a couple of dowels when putting togther because holes didn't line up well, made it a little more difficult to put togther. Like the desk, the camlock

I would highly recommend this piece of furniture. It was very easy to put together. Easy to read instructions. All items are included to put the piece together so you don't have to worry about tools.

The file cabinet is a high quality item. It is pricy for what it is, but I wanted it because it matched the Martha Stewart desk that I also purchased. The file cabinet was much harder to put together than the desk because the file cabinet contained many more pieces and steps. It took a couple of hours to complete it. Some of the screws were not molded/cast properly and I was lucky that similar screws were also used for the desk and I had a couple extra ones left over; otherwise, I would have had to call the manufacturer to get more screws. Although I was grumbling putting it together, it is definitely a quality item and I am happy with the purchase.

After sending back this product twice my third cabinet finally arrived in good condition not easy to put together and the wood still had to be touched up
