The Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery Permanent File Folder Labels, 5/8" x 3-1/2", 168/Pack by Martha Stewart is good for industrial uses & in the kitchen & mailing and Shipping & for one's file folders & for one's stationery & for putting on jars for labeling & color coded for sorting folder files. This 168 pack of these labels has a variety of colors that is good for file folder sorting. Also being Avery Permanent File Folders that the color on the labels shouldn't fade. Avery products are good quality products.

These are okay to use for file folders but not other projects in the office and home. The only draw-back I have found is that because they are removable, they don't stick to all surfaces that well. I know they are designed specifically for file folders, however, once you remove them the first time from a file folder, they don't stay on as well after that. I have tried using them on other items than file folders, and it definitely depends on the surface whether they stick well. They did not apply well to envelopes for instance. This is definitely use your own judgement before you buy. If you are using them strictly to label file folders as they are sold as, they are fine. If you are trying to use them for anything else, you might try a different product. I was not impressed with these and wish I had chosen a different product. I was thought that even though they were labeled for file folders I could use them on other paper items as well.
