Comments about Maxell® Stereo Neckband Headphones With Swivel Earcups:

I hate the ear buds, so wanted to try these. Someone said they were tight on their big head, so I was worried, because I have a giant head. (Mens' Large sized hats sit atop my head like in a Laurel & Hardy movie, so yeah, big head).

So pleased to find that these fit my head pretty well for the few hours I wore them out this week. No crushed ears, and no headache, either. The sound is nice, the feel on my ears is nice, and other than finding myself talking a bit louder, I was still able to carry on a conversation with them on.

Not going to cut out the sound of a Lawn mower while wearing them, but it's more like having a radio on in the room. YOu can still hear everything, but the music is always there, too. That's a good thing, because I don't want to damage my ears, and I think those ear buds were hurting me. These will be better for my ears, I think, and they stay put better.

Good:
+ You can wear a hat with these, and they don't mess up your hair as much. My long hair covered them up so much I don't think some people even realized I was wearing them.

+ Only one cord attached to one side makes these a lot less likely to get ripped off your ears, and aids in discreet listening, too.

Not so great:
+ Wearing a jacket, collared shirt, or just tilting my head back to look up makes them push up, and off my ears. I wanted to be able to wear a hat with them while I mow the lawn, so that's good, but I need to wear a jacket while snow blowing, so that's not so good.

+ Haven't tried it yet, but I suspect wearing sun glasses may be an issue. Waiting for the first lawn mow to find out on that one.

+ Still a pretty long cord. Geez, I wish I could get one with less than a foot of cable. My MP3 Player weighs nothing, so I can clip it to my collar, with the earphones only being a few inches away. Why do I need 3 feet of cord?

Once upon a time, these gadgets weighed a ton, and you needed to hook them to your pants or an arm band, etc. Move on people, that day is over, and feather weight devices are here. Shorten that cord. : )

Comments about Maxell® Stereo Neckband Headphones With Swivel Earcups:

These are not the best behind the head headphones. I don't like the swivel...does make it hard to get them on. Sometimes feels like they are lopsided.
