This version of CD-RW disk is good for doing limited size file transfers. For larger files I just use USB SanDisk Cruzer memory sticks. Some servers do not have activated USB ports so the CD is a good alternate media especially for the price.

After opnenig it and attempting to record on three discs I realized I had purchased the wrong product and did not return becsuse the pack was opened and 3 discs were inserted in lap top to record

                    According to the manufacturer, the life span ranges from 30-100 years. The life span will depend on a number of factors such as the quality of the disc and the way it is handled and stored, therefore it is difficult to estimate just how long it will last. As long as you take proper care of the discs, then they will last as long as you need them.
