this is my 4th batch of these at 20 Disk a pop and I've not had a bad burn yet. (Well I got 3 left I haven't used yet but just you wait).
These Disk burn so good I have even gotten them to work in a 5 year old DVD player that wasn't rated for DVD-R's. I usually burn my DVD's at a slower speed (4X) but not always, and I still haven't got a bad one yet. My Epson RX580 prints on these disk beautiful too.
I won't buy nothing but these Memorex Disk. Their Printable CD-R's are the same way too...perfect.

I specifically chose these discs for the print capabilities, but every video I transferred onto the discs would stall all throughout the video. I run a business transferring old home videos to DVD and this was very dissapointing since I had to redo every disc for the customer on a different brand that works much better. This cost me time and money. Will not purchase again.

    Comments about Memorex™ 20/Pack 4.7GB Printable DVD-R, Spindle:

These are hard to find. I use them to store pictures but it would be nice to be able to sore more pictures on less discs. I have to use several for one year. I really like being able to print my own label this is my way of scrapbooking, I print the date of the pictures and my favorite picture from that time. However I can only fit a few months on a disc so it takes 5-6 disc for the year.

I have no problem with the disk themselves, I find them hard to find and would like to see the stores carry them in larger packs of 30 or 50.

          Comments about Memorex™ 20/Pack 4.7GB Printable DVD-R, Spindle:

I produce niche market educational videos and print small runs of the DVD sets as needed. I go through printable DVD--R's very quickly. I care about quality and that every disc that my customers receive is problem-free, works in whatever player they use (whether an internal computer DVD player, or stand-alone home DVD player.) The Memorex™ 20/Pack 4.7GB Printable DVD-R, Spindle by Memorex are usually in stock when I need them and at a price that allows me to offer my product to my customers at a reasonable price. I recommend Memorex™ 20/Pack 4.7GB Printable DVD-R's for anyone burning DVD's for professional uses or for archiving of data.

The first DVD I burned failed to load in my Sony DVD player. I burned a second copy using HP DVD's and it worked perfectly. I've had trouble with Memorex CD's and DVD's before. Won't buy them again.

              • Q:

Am I able to put the entire disc into the printer or is the label separate and requiring additional software to print the label?
Asked on 9/25/2009 by Jerry from Thornton

                3 answers

                • A:

The entire disc is designed to be placed into the printer. However, the printer must be designed to print discs and will have a special tray for holding the DVD/CD. It then prints directly on to the top of the disc inside this tray.

Paper labels were all the rage for a while, but they can cause the discs to wobble when they spin up and over time the labels can peel off causing all kinds of trouble.

                  A:

if you have a lightscribe dvd/cd drive it will write your label in the drive, without any extra software. If not you will need to get a disc labeler which will have software and labels and everything you need.

                • VERIFIED BUYER

                  A:

Yes, the disc can be put directly into the printer for printing. This is not a separate label.
