Reviews Almost Stopped Me From Purchase

Some negative reviews almost stopped me from purchasing this drive, but I decided to give it a try. It is a little complicated to install the drive, but once it's running it's extremely quiet. It's nice to know that my hard drive is being backed up without me having to do it manually. The price I paid was only [$] which was a huge deal. I'd recommend this product to anyone looking to backup a large amount of files. It's been reliable with me so far.

Decent External Drive

I bought this drive to create some basic DVD's from our Grand Canyon vacation pics. I envisioned the drive coming with a DVD writing or creating software bundle, but all it came with was a trial version of ArcSoft [...] I opted to download a free version off the internet, and it works fine. For the money, this product should come with a permanent writing software.
