I use this product in my business, producing customized shows for my clients, both personal memories and business service and product showcases. I need a product on which I can rely that will render high quality results so that my clients return to me when they need another show produced. I have even burned VHS converted to digital on these disks. The client stated that the digital version was amazingly clear and vibrant, improving on the quality of their home movies.

I give it one star because I can't give it 0 stars. These people are in way over their heads when they're not making cassette tapes.

    I know how to burn CDs and DVDs but am at a loss to know whether I should get -R, +R, -RW, +RW, etc. The Staples tech explained that with the laptops/PCs produced in the last three years or so, it doesn't really make a difference which one you select as they can all read and write to the various types. This made it easy for me to choose this product as it was a great deal and I didn't need to worry about whether or not it would do the job.

          Memorex continues their tradition of offering competitive features at the best price. Fast burning, no duds, no drive compatibility problem for me so far. It would be great if they included support for LightScribe labeling drives (eg, HP), and you have to buy your jewel cases or sleeves extra/separately at this price.

              Yes they can. The TYPE of data is unimportant, just make sure your burner works with the DVD +R format. For most reliable copies, always burn at low speed.
