This was a replacement purchase as I used up most of the first pack of disc burning my favorite music. I had several bad discs in the first pack and had problems with recording and playback. This pack worked fine so I assume Memorex corrected the problem (or I just had a bad batch).

Won't save my pictures on the disc

I was told this should handle my copy needs. I need to back up Quick books and I need to often save pictures or pdf files to disc. This disc was not recognized by my computer and it would not save to it.

Package also contains black discs. Black is not a "cool" color, but the problem is that marker ink isn't visible on a black surface. Paper labels and/or patches of white out to write on will throw the disc out of balance and eventually damage the drive. Can also cause read/write errors, but the price can't be beat, and that's why I bought so many, and may buy more.
