I checked around and this seemed like the best unit in this price range. It's a nice clock and radio - the sound quality is amazingly good for a unit this small.

The main reason I got it was to charge my iPod Touch, and it does a great job. It's also nice to be able to wake up to something on my iPod. I like that the clock has a backup battery as well. It's small and compact enough that you could travel with it. My only "gripe" is that the lowest setting for the illumination is still pretty bright. Functions as a pretty bright night light! Unlike what the description says, mine has a bluish backlight, not amber.
