          First off the volume control knob is smooth and almost recessed, extremely hard to turn, poor design. No way to control bass or treble so the speakers sound very tinny. The FM radio has poor reception on most stations. It's best use is on the porch, deck or beach. Don't expect anything near a Bose quality sound. I expected better, but I guess nothing is made well any more.

                Don't buy this for the radio function. You have to plug in an external antenna (which is included). It works great if you want to stream Pandora or play music off your iPhone.
