I was hoping to use it in the car for my nearly deaf husband but the vibration unseats the ipod.

It is still great for listening at home though.

I Purchased two of these for 11 & 12 year old granddaughters for Christmas. Both had ipods,and iphone. It played right out of the box on batteries. Good sound. Perfect to charge their ipod and iphones. Liked the fact that unit had handy carring handle, am/fm radio, and cd player.
Great price from staples. Received in 24 hrs/free
shipping. Thanks Staples.

Pretty good volume, easy to carry around. Digital display would be MUCH better if it was near the top of device instead of at the bottom. Will only charge I-phone/I-Pod when plugged in, but seems to work fine. Pleased with purchase thus far-was a Christmas gift for college son.
