These earbuds went through the wash and dryer by mistake and after I just took out the single AAA battery and let it dry further for a day and these babies still worked like a charm. They are light, compact and much easier to travel with than those big noise cancelling headphones, but their one drawback is that you might forget them and leave them in your jeans like I did. I got these on sale for about half price at Stapels and if you can snag a pair for the same deal you should be all means jump on it. Glad I bought them.

While quite effective at reducing background noise, the electronics add thier own background hiss. When listening to loud music or movies, it is not noticable, but can be clearly heard with soft music or when being used to just deaden the noise around you. The cord needs to be at least a foot longer from the earphones to the electronic box. Its just too short for use other than sitting at a desk.

If you are on a budget, this would get you by. If you want the "good" stuff, you can get into a Sony version for about $50 more

          Comments about Memorex™ NC300 In-Ear Earbuds (2012):

These earphones are bulky and do not stay in my ears. When my sister used them she sounded great. I could hear her loud and clear. I'm not sure what the on off switch on the box is for or the speaker looking part on the ear bud.(ill have to check the instructions). If I have them plugged into my phone and the phone is on the vent holder, they definitely fall out of my ears because of the box that's on the line of the headphones. Maybe that's why they were twenty something dollars off, on the clearance sale rack. Maybe I'll t read up on them and try again.

          Noise isolating

          Comments about Memorex™ NC300 In-Ear Earbuds (2012):

Bought these to try a noise isolating In-ear instead of the bulky over the ear headphones. I like that they stay in the ears and have a good clear sound. I can do without the little battery box in the middle. But it's either that or something on my head flattening my hair. Overall, it does what it says.

I found these on clearance and purchased them for an early trip where I knew I wanted to sleep, hoping the noise canceling feature would be great! But alas, I had to return them! They hurt my ears even with the smallest rubber pieces attached... I have never owned a pair of earbuds that were so uncomfortable!
