The CD/DVD Laser Lens Cleaner is designed for use in CD and DVD players. It uses a 6 ultra-soft brush system to safely remove dust and dirt from the laser lens of the disc player. This will help ensure quality and consistency of laser performances and maximize performance levels.

        Probably works just fine for a normal DVD player but when our PS3 stopped reading discs we thought we would give this a try since the machines work in similar ways. Needless to say it did not help.

            Perhaps the Xbox laser was just too dirty but this cleaner didn't help at all. It was worth trying due to low cost and might prove useful on another device. But for Xbox,take it apart and use the ole' q-tip dipped in a little rubbing alchol.
