This mouse uses Bluetooth. Its easy to turn off and on (saves Batteries) and does not use any ports in my computer, leaving space to plug other things in. I use it with photoshop to retouch my images. I highly recommend!

Microsoft Mouse

I've been trying to find a good Bluetooth mouse to save one USB port for other uses. This is my third attempt to find a good one.

It works OK as a mouse, though the scroll wheel is a bit chunky for my tastes. I prefer a smoother action.

After a couple of weeks I noticed the computer would loose it's connection to the mouse from time to time. This became more frequent until I finally was unable to connect at all. After doing a bit of bluetooth troubleshooting I finally thought to replace the battery. That seems to have improved connection quality.

This mouse is supposed to have a low battery indicator but that never blinked once. The battery life seems to be shorter then the Logitech bluetooth mouse this unit replaced.

In general I much preferred the Logitech, but the left button on that one got flakey, so I repleced it with the Microsoft Mouse.

I wish Staples offered more choices in Bluetooth mice. I'll probably try an Apple Mouse next time.

Works great! The only problem I have had is that it will become unresponsive (i.e. stall) for a moment after being idle for a long period.

  This mouse can be used with any computer that has a Bluetooth wireless connection. If your desktop does not have a Bluetooth wireless connection one can be added via a USB port. A very simple setup that works very nice, at least for me.

  I bought this and couldn't use it with my desktop Windows 7 because my computer doesn't have a Blue tooth driver. Your computer has to have a Blue tooth driver. There is no USB receiver with this mouse. I love it, but can't use it. I am going back to Staples today and I hope I can get the same one with a USB receiver or even corded it if have too. It is perfect for my hand. It isn't a raised back which I personally love.
