Value for the cost is good. I use it often at home and away from home. Fortunately it is "to the point" and gets my job done nicely. It is durable and does not require a battery. I like it that way.

However, I wish it was more ergonomic or accommodating for my slightly long fingers.

Expected more from Microsoft

Wouldn't recommend, but it was the only wired mouse available at my Staples store when old mouse died. Don't have and can't afford a router, so no wireless mice need apply.
Preferred previous design, with left and right click being separate, not all the same piece. Harder for me to manipulate accurately. Not friendly to arthritic hands...

Weird hand grip -too high

I like the mouse, but it seems made for larger hands. The palm bump seems to be made for a larger hand than mine as it feels too high and I don't exactly reach the roller on top to page up/down. I am getting used to it but wish you could buy a size to fit your palm/hand.
