          I'd like to take this thing back, but don't know if Staples will take it because it's been several weeks -- too busy to justify taking time off to take this piece of junk (original review contained the 4 letter "c" word, which they made me delete, so I replaced it with "junk". They're lucky I didn't use the "s" word!) back.

            This mouse has a nice solid feel, is compact and glides nicely, has a great response as it is moved. My only issue with it is the scroll feature. While I appreciate the feedback it provides through a vibration, it is not as accurate as other devices I've used, and occasionally has a delayed response.

              I've been using the Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 for the past 5+ years and while it still works - I was looking for something new. So I went with the Explorer and returned it the next day. It was extremely uncomfortable compared to the 3000 and my hand was cramping just after a few hours. The design, while it looks great, is not meant for long periods of use, and as someone who is on the computer 10+ hours a day, I need something that's super comfortable. Returned it for the Microsoft 3500 (new version of the 3000.) I had another mouse from MS which was approximately $90 and eventually gave it away. My opinion is that MS's more expensive mice are not comfortable.
