      This is the replacement for Microsoft FrontPage. It's a totally different program and has a pretty steep learning curve to learn how to build a web site with the program. If you're familiar with CCS and maybe VB Studio, it might be easier to learn. If not, buy a good book to go with the program and be prepared to spend a lot of time learning the program.

      This is not to be taken as a criticism. Expressions Studio follows the latest standards for web development and has lots of tools to get the job done. It's like a sharp knife. It does the job it needs to do, but you can't be careless with it!

      I have over 30 years of microcomputer hardware and software experience (I am considered an expert by my business associates) and I must say that this is the worst software I have ever used in my life. Try to get help from Microsoft and they want you to spend $250 for support. On software that works great when you spend days designing your site, only to find out that the software will crash when you try to publish. You can get around the publishing if you use the ftp publishing. The front page server extensions will not work so if you used any of the Front Page Components, don't expect them to work.. and don't expect any assistance from Microsoft. Bottom line: You buy this software and you will be sorry.

                    I use it to build websites. What's great about it is the price-point is less than Adobe. What is not great about it is the License Agreement is unclear to me about what number of PCs this upgrade is good for. I would like to know a number restriction or if it is unrestricted, but the license agreement is silent on any number of PCs.

                      If I have downloaded the trial of Expressions Web 4 and it has since expired would buying this upgrade work for me or would I have to buy the full software? I still have the software installed on my computer but I can not use it because I need a product key to activate it.

                      I have one of the first versions of Expression web it does not have a version number it simply has 2007. If I purchase the upgrade to Expression Web 4.0 will it work? Also, does anyone know if you can upload multiple photos? With the version I have you have to make a table and copy one photo at a time into the table then thumbnail it. I load roughly 150 photos per page so this is time consuming.....Thanks

                        You must have one of the following on your PC:

                        Any Microsoft Expression product
                        Any Adobe Creative Suite
                        Any Microsoft Office product

                        Staples seems a better choice since you get the install CD, which you do not get from Microsoft for the Upgrade. I think you only get to download it.
