After installing this camera I had little trouble starting it. My first impression was and still is why did I not have one sooner. The auto focus and clarity is amazing . My old camera is gone . I also love the extreme low light ability this camera has. I would like to get another one to use as a security camera at my front door. Video chatting is absolutely clear as is the voice from the mic.

The part that clips onto the computer is flexible and can also be curled to stand on its own. It won't fit onto my monitor so I have it standing on its base. It will clip easily onto my laptop at the top of the monitor. It doesn't swivel to either side as much as some cameras that swivel 180 degrees, but I don't find that a problem. The minor adjustments you can make are adequate.

                  Bought this so we could see our daughter in Boston. Was surprised by ease of use and decent clarity for the size of the camera. The stand contraption is a little funky, was not quite sure how it would stay on the top of the laptop, however figured it out in a minute. Auto focus is a cool addition, I move around a lot. We also have pets that move in and out of the camera area for the duration of conversation that have to be acknowledged by whoever we are speaking to:) Considered the more expensive camera at $100, however for the money it is a good product. Have already recommended, to our daughter in Tucson so she can visit with us and her sister!
