This replaced a Veo Connect product that I had that performed poorly. This is great for Skype video calling to friends and family. No need for a separate microphone as it's built in! I recommend it!

I bought this webcam so that my children could send video's to their grandma in Kentucky. Now we are going to buy one for her so they can video chat... Love the product for the price!

Disappointed in the cam. Purchased to use with Skype so my grandchildren could see us and the picture does not transmit properly. May send a picture but soon stops and only a still one is viewed by them. Last time thy didn't even get a picture only a green screen.

The LifeCam VX5000 came with LifeCam 2.0 software. This would not load on my computer. I called tech support. They helped me load LifeCam 3.0 and now all is well.
