This is the first ergonmic keyboard I've used, and I haven't had it long. I work in an office and am on the computer approx 30 hours a week. I'm finding it very comfortable, and it's been easier to adjust to than I expected.
The things I like about the keyboard: battery indicator light, the top row of "extras", the versatality of the different positions you can angle the keyboard. Things I haven't had a use for on the keyboard: the Zoom button on the center, the Back, Forward buttons on the bottom. Things I don't like about the keyboard: there are no indicator lights for caps lock, num lock, etc. The space bar is LOUD compared to the rest of the nice, quiet, padded keys.
The mouse fits like a glove, but if you are a female with small hands, you might find it to be too big. Things I like about the mouse: the four-way scroll. Things I don't like: So far I haven't had a use for the top and bottom thumb buttons, and I couldn't easily push them without readjusting my hand.
Overall, I'm happy with the purchase...and my wrists are grateful, which was my main objective in buying!

While the unit has programmable buttons. The previous versions were directed twoward media, along with the major quick links (ie..mail,Documents, Home, Messenger )These certainly served the purpose, And could be altered if needed. However the lack of attention to detail as well as creating a ergonomic keyboard shaped like a brick. Obvious a show piece for a economic keyboard designed with profit in mind !!

I love the design. I love the quietness of the keyboard. I am not so crazy about the pressure it takes to hit some of the keys. Some keys seem to stick. The space bar is especially sticky. The mouse is still a mystery to me. Still trying to program it to highlight and delete a word. Isnt that a normal function of a mouse? Still the keyboard is worth the money.

My keyboard is about 3 years old. I would replace it immediately if MS or Logitech would give color options. Black keys are hard to see in dimmed light. There was nothing wrong with the putty-colored keyboards. An even bigger complaint is MS did not include a lighted indicator signalling when Cap Lock is on or Num Lock is on. Everyone else has this feature and I rely on it. The final complaint is with the mouse battery. It takes two AA cells. (One is a cell, two or more is a battery.) Unusual scrolling, strange artifacts displayed, and general malfunctioning were corrected by removing one of the two AA cells. Operation was flawless with one cell removed. I could not get in contact with Microsoft. They are more interested in what they want to do, not the needs of their customers. Proof of this hypothises is Vista. I do like the ergonomic feel of the mouse and keyboard, and other features built in.

I use this product to work. The downside is its kinda difficult to find out which is the best position for you. I think microsoft should give more information on this matter.
Battery life is good. I have been using this produce for the past 3 weeks and the batteries are still good.
THe front lift seems flimsy so be carfule.
The features and programable buttons make workin more faster when opening programs and folders. Not all programs will open with the my favorates buttons.
