This software was purchased for our college-bound high school senior for use on a new Mac laptop. We were concerned about how it would work as we had always had PCs and our senior was trained with Microsoft Office on a PC. We are very pleased with it and would purchase again.

Great software, but the newer version is more difficult to navigate but is loaded with great features. Files work between Mac and PC machines very well. Great value for a great software package.

  Office 2011 for the Mac does have some small bugs, like chart data label not being visible, or equation editor not functioning correctly. Overall though Office 2011 will work with Lion operating system.

I will be getting a iMac this Christmas. I do not use Outlook on my current PC. I use gmail for all emails. Will I be able to access my current email account (gmail) if I install this product on my new iMac or do I have to use Outlook?

  This product appears to be the 1 pack, 1 Mac, 1 user version. I believe you can also find it in the family pack version which would allow use for 3 users on 3 different Mac's.
