Users of older versions will need to invest time and effort in finding their favorite features as much is reorganized. The good news - the help feature is fast and accurate.

There was a time when, once purchased, you owned the right to install Outlook on any computer you wanted to. Now, Caveat Emptor! New technology, that is if you count the past 5-10 years as new, allows Microsoft to count your installations and cut you off once you have hit the useful license lifespan of what you purchased. This allows for less expensive one time installations, however most households have more than one computer in them these days. So be very cautious when buying the one user license if you really need 5 users.

Also, if you are trying to save time and money be careful about buying the Home and Student versions of Microsoft Suite products...this DOES NOT include Outlook!

      Comments about Microsoft Outlook 2010:

Installed the software and encountered stopped working and restarting problems. Uninstalled and reinstalled the software. Problem persisted. Followed suggestions from Microsoft and user forums, uninstalling other Office programs, updating profiles, etc. Problem persisted. Uninstalled the software and reverted to Windows Live Mail. Problem solved. Up to this point a complete waste of money - and time.

      Comments about Microsoft Outlook 2010:

Outlook is a great program, but I had major problems installing it, in fact I could not install in both computers as it says I can do. I tried several times before I succeeded in getting it installed on one computer.

Didn't know it didn't come with windows 7 or with microsoft office for student and teachers. Had to pay extra bucks just for outlook. Just something more microsoft does to make money..I had to purchase it to use my computer the way I did with xp.
