BlueTrack Technology
The Microsoft Sculpt Touch mouse uses BlueTrack technology to detect its movement over a surface. BlueTrack is more accurate than laser and optical tracking, with the combination of pixel geometry, an image sensor, and the large blue beam allowing the mouse to accurately track movement over a large variety of surfaces with ease.

Customizable Buttons
The Sculpt Touch mouse from Microsoft has three customizable buttons that extend the use of the mouse significantly. Using the customization option, you can program the three mouse buttons to open commonly used apps or to perform specific system functions quickly and easily with the touch of that particular preprogrammed button.

Comfortable Design
The Microsoft Sculpt Touch mouse is designed to fit comfortably in either hand, with buttons conveniently placed for ambidextrous use. Instead of the traditional left and right buttons, the mouse uses touch technology that allows you to perform regular mouse functions through gestures along the top of the mouse, increasing your speed. If you'd prefer a different shape in a touch mouse, there's the Microsoft Wedge Touch mouse available, which eschews the traditional contoured mouse shape in favor of a sleeker wedged one.

Long-Lasting Battery Life
The Microsoft Sculpt Touch can be used for up to nine months without the need to change batteries. This makes the Sculpt Touch extremely inexpensive to use, and lessens the chances that you'll run out of power at a critical moment.
