I love this mouse with its lack of a scroll wheel, the swipe scrolling is very fun and nice. The swipes do not always work right and I find my programs randomly moving around because of the sensitivity. A big con for me is the CTRL + Scroll. I am used to changing the zoom with this feature and it is VERY glitch prone: sometimes it will zoom to max or min instantly, others it will simply do nothing... I have yet to have it properly zoom. I do like the ergonomics of the mouse and the ease of use is nice also.

Not all it's cracked up to be!

Unreliable, overly sensitive, not in the least intuitive, difficult to use, unexpected cursor movements, not a positive reacting mouse, you never know what's going to happen when you're typing or reading.

Unreliable, overly sensitive, not in the least intuitive, difficult to use, unexpected cursor movements, not a positive reacting mouse, you never know what's going to happen when you're typing or reading.
When trying to type a paragraph (including this review!)and you happen to look away for an instant, the next time you look at the screen you'll probably find you're typing 3 or 4 rows away from where you're supposed to be. I thought it might be my laptop but it does the same thing on my desktop too.
Program windows fly all over the screen at the slightest touch, focus is lost and you wind up working in a previously minimized window/program without warning.
Very inaccurate cursor movement. I can't use it on my CAD program no matter how much I adjust the settings.
Buttons work sporadically and unreliably, sometimes not at all. Right clicking is a real challange and usually results in a left click response.
I'm going back to my Comfort Mouse 3000 and giving this junk to my dog to play with.

A combination mouse & touch pad

        Comments about Microsoft Touch Mouse:

This is basically a combination mouse and touch pad. It does everything a mouse does, but the gesture features on the top allow you to move, navigate, snap, and do other things you would normally do on a touch pad. It's very handy and definitely makes multi-tasking easier.
The only complaint I have is that there is no sensitivity adjustment. Many times I have made slight movements with my thumb that have triggered responses. I would like to see an adjustment for that.
Other than that, I think this mouse is great.

          Comments about Microsoft Touch Mouse:

This is the worst mouse that I have ever owned from Microsoft. The mouse is extremely touchy, the left and right click are never reliable and often when you right click, it ends up left clicking 90% of the time. The scroll is also too touchy and almost useless. The battery life is also horrible, lasting maybe a few weeks, if that, with moderate use. I would not reccomend this mouse to anyone.
