I really liked my Logitech wireless mouse better, but the transceiver broke so it wouldn't work anymore. When I went to replace it, I was going to get the same one, as I was very happy with it, but I started reading the notes and noticed that it didn't say it was compatible with Windows 8. My son plans on buying me a new laptop and said he was getting me one with Windows 8, so I wanted a mouse that would be compatible with that. The Microsoft mouse was the least expensive one that said it was Windows 8 compatible. It works well, just isn't quite as comfortable as the Logitech, or maybe I'm just not used to it yet. Its a little smaller, the wheel narrower. I'll probably love it when I get used to it.

When I first bought this mouse, it worked great and I liked it's comfort. After using it for about 3 weeks, it died. I changed the battery and that didn't help. I'm going to try returning it for another one and hope that this one I bought is just a fluke. My sister has the same one and she's been using it for ages that's why I bought this particular mouse in the first place.

Purchased this to add increased performance with my new laptop. The moment I plugged in the doggle the mouse was working perfectly. If you need to improve the function of the laptop you should have one of these.
